Climate and Environment Coordinator OHCHR
As a consultant, I coordinated and assisted OHCHR in the implementation of an Environment Management System. This includes the establishment of a sustainability policy, strategy, objectives, targets and goals for the whole organisation. Other deliveries are related to the implementation of a Carbon Fund, reduced carbon footprint and staff communication and awareness activities. On the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, OHCHR is also highlighting the importance of the human rights of environment and climate defenders.

Strategic work related to organisational development includes developing action plans and goal setting, creating working groups, recruiting and governing volunteers, facilitating and moderating events and meetings and financial capacity and budgeting.

Environment Officer UNHCR Jordan
I was seconded through the MSB research pool to assist UNHCR Jordan in their environmental and climate performance by:
Auditing and identifying environmental aspects.
Creating a yearly green plan and goals.
Creating a long-term five-year roadmap.
Establishing collaboration and contacts with Jordan’s environmental movement and the Ministry of Environment.
Recruitment of one full-time environmental coordination position.
Implementation of projects related to increased recycling, staff awareness, increased biodiversity, installation of hydroponics in offices and refugee camps, energy savings, installation of solar panels and so on.
ISO 14001 refreshment training and qualification through Ramboll.

Board member of Sweden’s Largest Animal Rights ORGANISATION
Strategic work for the organisational roadmap ahead, accountability of the whole organisation including projects, marketing, finance, human resources, risk analysis and so on. Djurens Rätt only works with democratic methods and is one of the most media influential and fast-growing organisations in Sweden.

Board member of Red Cross Stockholm
Coordinating, supporting and coaching the local branches of the Swedish Red Cross in Stockholm to develop and strengthen their organisations to be able to meet the current humanitarian needs of the region.

Started as a volunteer in 2011 and has then developed the organisation’s sustainability work as an employee by:
Created and coordinated the new action plan on sustainability 2019-2023.
Sustainability reporting according to GRI.
Agenda 2030 and its global goals mapping.
Action plan to cut CO2 emissions in collaboration with Cero AB.
Coordinating the 35 regional volunteer sustainability ambassadors.
Educational material for volunteers, local branches and second-hand shops.
Updated policy on sustainable development.

Founder of A Sustainable Closet
A fashion platform to make it easier for people to create their sustainable closet and to make better choices as consumers.
Establishing a business plan, marketing plan, Instagram strategy and website.
Coordination of team including interns and volunteers.
More than 500 interviews have been conducted with brands, stores and people interested in slow fashion.
Regular content creation including editorials, guides, videos, posts, articles and so on
In 2023 A Sustainable Closet reached 8500 monthly readers and has 500 subscribers on our newsletter.

May 2018 about my fieldwork in Kenya, Indonesia and Nepal at ABF.
October 2018 about Agenda 2030 and how the private sector can contribute in collaboration with Bilda.
April 2019 about mental illness and what we can do to prevent suicide in collaboration with The Lobby.
Jury for Campusbokhandelns scholarship for climate-smart students. During the autumn 2018, the e-book commerce Campusbokhandeln launched their first scholarship dedicated to a student in Sweden doing major work to prevent climate change.

Quality Hotel Nacka With Sustainergies
For three years I consulted and assisted the environmental coordinator for the hotel’s sustainability work. Most of the work is related to making sure that the hotel is following criteria, is improving its environmental aspects and that the staff stays informed and engaged in sustainability issues. For example, we organised a candlelight dinner at the restaurant on the night of Earth Hour.
